Update to iOS27 and MacOS27, ya, I'm Good
Every year Apple releases big updates and bugs us with reminders on all devices. But every time I update a working device, it becomes a buggy mess. It doesn't show up right away but eventually in day to day use. Last year CarPlay stopped working 50% of the time in my car compared to iOS18. Event today after all the updates in iOS26, it is still buggy even with wired connections. I regret updating from iOS18.
This year I'm not interested in updating. It appears to me that Apple is pushing their AI Intelligence feature and services. They are also asking you to use your data to build it as well and so far no option to turn it off completely. AI Intelligence uses up plenty of storage on your phone that cannot be deleted too.
I've noticed in the App Store, some third party apps are becoming iOS27 only. If developers continue to update their apps to work on iOS27 only, then I will stop supporting them. Do not force users to update their OS because that is a sure way of losing customers. Many users have older devices and will not benefit from updating their OS even if they own a iPhone 11 series.
