The real world is better than online, ya I'm Good
The other day I viewed the trending posts on different Mastodon instances and Bluesky. It was full of extreme views on specific tech topics, tech companies and tech individuals. Along with American nonsense. Always some drama there. Threads and X are as bad I'm sure but I'm not sure how to view any public posts on those networks.
Every day I'm grateful not to be on socials. The individuals online would not last a day in the real world with their opinions and views. Someone would challenge them or just simply ignore them. Hiding behind a keyboard, posting videos of fake facts and bullying others is the internet now. Don't get me started on how harmful AI is to all of us.
In the real world, I am not bombarded with American politics, extreme ideology, fake facts, social influencers and other ridiculous digital only issues. I don't see AI in my offline world. I don't have news in my face 24/7.
People are different in the real world. I find many are nice, respectful and kind. I don't have stress, anxiety and frustrations over digital online topics and issues. My life is pretty quiet and boring. I like it.
So, ya, not being online interacting on socials, I'm Good.
